A Hitchikers Guide to er... that place near Qian Hu fish farm.

Today I went to ACRES' yet to be completed Wildlife Rescue Centre to help paint it. Help is very subjective. I went after school today, therefore only reached that godforsaken place about 2 hours after leaving school. Met Hisham and Von at Choa Chu Kang MRT, took a bus and got off 1 stop early. Therefore, there was a not very short walk to that zebra crossing near Home Team academy. In fact, it was very long. Then there was a walk from lamp post number 1 to number 63. Luckily, there are drivers in Singapore smart enough to know the signal for hitchiking(a thumb) and kind enough to pick them up. So we hitched a ride from this nice man from lamp post 17 to 63.

At that place, we basically painted and did stuff bangla workers did. It was not very interesting or enjoyable, even for a few minutes. And I understand the plight of the workers now, having to do this day in day out, for years and for measly pay. And the big boss guy wasn't too pleased at our painting. Because alot of it went to the floor. Which they are not tiling. And we went to Qian Hu fish farm to look at fish, frogs, stingrays, lobsters, crabs, soft drinks, snacks and sweets while taking a break. Which was considerably longer than the time we painted walls. Actually it wasn't, I just wanted to make myself look like a slacker.

And after the thing, some of them other Ensocers had a ride in a car. And we had to rely on our rhinoceros thick skin to ask the RI guys if we could hitch a ride. They were very nice[or shocked at how thick skinned we were], and let us hitch-hike to the main road. And Han Cai and I decided to follow them all the way to RI, since it was more convenient for us that way. Which they also agreed, probably due to further shock at how people could blatantly ask for favours like that. But since it was along the way, the probably had no reason to reject us. =)

Anyway, since this is going to be a hitchhikers guide to something, I shall end with what the real hitchhikers guide begins with. Though I'm not sure how relevant it is.

DON'T PANIC!
