Logicless Logic

sick.

Sometimes I wonder what is going through the minds of (some)people with authority. What is the logic behind asking them for permission to see a doctor of your own choice when you are sick? Should it not be a basic right? Shouldn't they be concerned about the well-being of the sick person, instead of which doctor the patient is seeing? And what's with the aggressive tone of asking, as if implying the sick person is malingering. Sometimes, I get really sick. Of such people.
